About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNAs) to provide high-quality care and support to patients in assisted living facilities, home health environments, and other healthcare settings. As a GNA, you will play a critical role in assisting patients with daily living activities while ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.


  • Help patients with mobility, including transferring, repositioning, and ambulation.


  • Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and report any changes to the supervising nurse.


  • Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for patients.


  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.


  • Follow individualized care plans as directed by RNs or LPNs.


  • Assist in maintaining patient dignity and respect at all times.


  • Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.


Qualifications:
  • Active GNA certification in the state of Maryland.

  • Current CPR/BLS certification (required).

  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience (preferred, but some positions may accept new GNAs).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
