About the Role
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNAs) to provide high-quality care and support to patients in assisted living facilities, home health environments, and other healthcare settings. As a GNA, you will play a critical role in assisting patients with daily living activities while ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing wound care.
Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with RNs and physicians.
Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition to the supervising RN or physician.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health maintenance.
Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety protocols.
Assist CNAs with patient care tasks as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive patient environment.
Qualifications:
Current and valid LPN license in the state of Maryland.
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience (preferred but not required for certain positions).
CPR/BLS certification (required).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
