About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNAs) to provide high-quality care and support to patients in assisted living facilities, home health environments, and other healthcare settings. As a GNA, you will play a critical role in assisting patients with daily living activities while ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing wound care.


  • Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with RNs and physicians.


  • Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition to the supervising RN or physician.


  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.


  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health maintenance.

  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety protocols.


  • Assist CNAs with patient care tasks as needed.


  • Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive patient environment.


Qualifications:
  • Current and valid LPN license in the state of Maryland.

  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience (preferred but not required for certain positions).

  • CPR/BLS certification (required).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
